PRIVATE & SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS

Kids:

Private or Semi-Private Lessons are recommended ONLY if their is a special skill, condition and/or fear which prohibits the child from progressing.  While progression of skills occur much faster in Private Lessons, Group lessons are always recommended first as they provide socialization skills along with aquatic skills. 

Socialization skills are very important in the development of a child progressing through our lesson series which graduates to our age group swimming team (minimum age 8 years old).  At the team level, the swimmer will have to not only share instruction with multiple swimmers but must also be disciplined enough to take direction.  Group lessons progress the child gradually into classes of more students to allow for this development.

Adults:

We offer private & semi-private lessons to adults to learn how to swim, improve swimming technique, and train.

Cost:

Private lessons are scheduled during our Lap Swimming (adults) or Recreation Swim hours (kids).  They are dependant upon an instructor being available during these hours.  To coordinate a private / semi- private lesson., please contact the instructor directly.
